soy sauce

balsamic vinegar

brown sugar

garlic, minced

(less if you don't like spice)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
Whisk together all the ingredients
Place the salmon in a large baggy
Refrigerate 30 minutes to 2+ hours
Remove salmon from marinade
If baking, bake at 400 degrees F for 10-15 minutes or until thickest part flakes with a fork
Notes
Note:
To grill instead of bake, place the salmon in a fish basket and grill for 10 minutes per inch of thickness or when the thickest part just flakes with a fork; turn halfway through cooking
