Easy Chocolate Chocolate Chip Peppermint Cookie Bars
A fast, easy and delicious holiday cookie bar recipe that everyone will think you made from scratch! These Easy Chocolate Chocolate Chunk Peppermint Cookie Bars are fun to make and use the Krusteaz Triple Chocolate Chunk cookie mix, smashed candy canes and some cocoa powder to create a holiday treat that will disappear fast!

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Pour cookie mix into a large bowl; add egg, butter and cocoa. Mix well.
  3. Pour into a greased 8×8 baking dish.
  4. Put 2 regular sized candy canes into a baggy and smash (should equal about 2 Tbsp of candy cane pieces).
  5. Sprinkle the candy cane pieces on top.
  6. Bake for 20-22 minutes.
  7. Let cool, cut and serve. Hint: for cleaner cutting, put in the freezer for a while first and then cut.
